Generous

It’s interesting how in retrospect, some of the all but ‘invisible’ events in our life turned out to be some of the best ones. Sitting in a restaurant chatting happily with people you care about while waiting for a meal that turned out to be wonderful. Or riding in a tram through some foreign downtown at night in the snow with a person who means the world to you at the moment. At the time it happened, it was just a nice meal or a cozy tram ride. Later looking back, we realize what a great gift those events were.

The realization could make us sad because we didn’t appreciate those things enough when they were happening. Or we could look at them as how constantly generous our life has been, even when we weren’t aware of it.
